Srinivasan Ambatipati, Ph.D. : Senior Chemical Engineer

Dr. Ambatipati leads a team of engineers focused on the commercial development of the R3 GTL Methanol process as well as the production of downstream methanol products such as dimethyl ether. Dr. Ambatipati has experience in gas-liquid mass transfer in intensified modules, specifically within bubble column reactors. His 'hands on' experience in process development greatly enhances R3 Sciences' commercial development programs.

Ravi K. Mandela, Ph.D. : Senior Chemical Engineer

Dr. Mandela is responsible for the process simulation and process control design in the commercial development of the R3 GTL Methanol process. Dr. Mandela has worked on a range of process simulation evaluation software programs providing vital process information in the overall equipment design.

Himanshu Lodha, MS : Chemical Engineer

Mr. Himanshu Lodha is skilled in product development, continuous process improvement, distillation and pilot scale studies of chemical production systems. Mr. Lodha has developed several bench scale systems used to optimize catalyst for production of methanol from synthesis gas. Beyond his work in alcohol production, Mr. Lodha has developed a continuous process for water treatment and purification using rotating tube reactor and UV radiation. Mr. Lodha co-presented advanced work in the field of biodiesel production using rotating tube reactor at AIChe conference.

Akshey Mehta, MS : Mechanical Engineer

Mr. Akshey Mehta has investigated advanced mixing processes as well as developing prototypical models for mixing various liquids. His study involved the kinematics of mixing processes at various Reynolds numbers. His work in the study of liquid mixing provides R3 Sciences with advanced capabilities in the design of the advanced gas to methanol process. Mr. Mehta is trained in Solid Works with special emphasis on process equipment design and layout.

Seema Mallavalli, MS : Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Ms. Seema Mallavalli has developed numerous process control systems as well as investigating alternative process control scenarios on oil & gas control systems. Her experience and knowledge in control instrument selection as well as designing process control systems serves R3 Sciences in its efforts to develop processes capable of remote operation.
